I am so excited because my dear Sis and her hubby are expecting child number two! We found out today that she is due in April. I feel some crafting coming on – bet I have a pattern for booties somewhere.

OOOOOO, you are going to be an Auntie again. Whenever there was a new baby coming in an Italian family, the grandmothers would take out their crochet hooks and make bath towels with hoods attached and edge them with delicate stitches….and blankets and hats and booties. I still have all of my mother’s crochet hooks…..too bad I can’t crochet.
